So you registered online….what’s next? Be sure to fill you rucksack/backpack with non-perishable food items. You can carry up to 40 lbs if you choose, but we won’t judge you if you only show up with 5 pounds. Check-In will begin at 7:30 am on November 6th 2021 at the Santa Fe Plaza. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR ID! All participants will receive their t-shirt and wristband at check-in! At 9am the ruck march will begin! We will have volunteers at every turn so you won’t get lost! You can even download the ruck march map app on this page. You can go as slow or as fast as you want! This is not a timed event, but we will have a clock so you can see your results. Streets in downtown Temple will not be closed so make sure you follow street crossing safety. Once you cross the finish line you will receive your challenge coin, and you will also empty your perishable food items in the collection point. If you are 21 and up you can also collect your free beer from the same tent you registered at. You will need your wristband to collect your beer! Once you receive your beer we will collect your wristband. Food trucks will have food for purchase! Have fun, be safe, dress accordingly, and watch out for one another!
RUCKS ON MAIN
The day of the ruck march we will need volunteers to assist with tent set-up that morning, volunteers to check in registrants, volunteers on the course navigating participants, and photographers! All volunteers who fill out the online form below will get an email a few weeks prior to the event listing time and place of the volunteer meeting.
