The Route

So you registered online….what’s next? Be sure to fill you rucksack/backpack with non-perishable food items. Participants will carry UP TO 40 lbs. Check-In will begin at 7:30 am on ruck day at the Santa Fe Plaza. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR ID! All participants will receive their t-shirt and wristband for beer & food at check-in! At 9am the ruck march will begin! We will have police escorts and you can even download the ruck march map app on this page.

For our Memorial Day event medals will be given to squads and individuals who carry the most weight in their rucksack. For our Veterans Day event medals will be given for the fastest squad and individuals who carry a minimum of 40lbs. Each Ruck March will be timed and times will be posted on the website. Streets in downtown Temple will not be closed so make sure you follow street crossing safety. Once you cross the finish line you will receive a completion gift of some kind, and you will also empty your non-perishable food items at the collection point. You can also use your wristband to collect your 1 free beer and free food from our food vendor of choice that day! Have fun, be safe, dress accordingly, and watch out for one another!

Volunteer

The day of the ruck march we will need volunteers to assist with tent set-up that morning, volunteers to check in registrants, volunteers on the course navigating participants, and photographers!  All volunteers who fill out the online form below will get an email a few weeks prior to the event listing time and place of the volunteer meeting.
